Castel reducing union for the tight connection of refrigeration system elements requiring HVAC-R maintenance

• Straight reducing fitting 1/4" SAE Flare (male) x 1/8" NPT (male).
• Threaded nipple with reduction material: brass.
• Castel 7140/21 application: reduction from a large standard thread (1/4" SAE) to a smaller conical thread (1/8" NPT).
• Allows connection with service hoses or union (groove) valves.
• Ensures tightness through a conical gasket (flare).
• Maximum permissible pressure: 120 bar.
